First is\u00a0news of two grants won by members of the Harmonization Project. The\u00a0US National Science Foundation awarded co-PIs Kazimierz M.\u00a0Slomczynski, Irina Tomescu-Dubrow and J. Craig Jenkins 1.4 million USD\u00a0for four years to further research on Survey Data Recycling. Meanwhile,\u00a0Joshua K. Dubrow was awarded 764,000 PLN for three years by Poland\u2019s\u00a0National Science Centre for a project on political and economic\u00a0inequality in cross-national perspective, featuring the SDR dataset.<br \/>\nStand-out articles by the international survey data community speak\u00a0to the diversity of harmonization research in the social sciences. Tom\u00a0Emery writes about how to harmonize administrative data with survey\u00a0data in the cross-national Generations and Gender Survey; Ilona\u00a0Wysmu\u0142ek presents the issues on the comparability of corruption\u00a0perception items in major public opinion surveys, and Marta Ko\u0142czynska,\u00a0Irina Tomescu-Dubrow and Kazimierz M.
